Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Girona FC for the signing of Arnau Martínez.

The 23-year-old right-back (Premià de Dalt, 25 April 2003) has signed a five-year contract with the Club, keeping him at Valencia CF until 2031.

His arrival strengthens the Valencia CF defence with a player who combines consistency, competitiveness and versatility, with the ability to adapt to different tactical systems.

Since making his senior debut in 2020, the new Valencia CF player has made 200 official appearances for Girona FC across LALIGA EA SPORTS, the Copa del Rey, the UEFA Champions League and LALIGA Hypermotion, gaining extensive experience despite his young age.

Having developed in the youth academies of FC Barcelona and CE L’Hospitalet, Arnau Martínez has represented Spain at U19 and U21 level, featuring for the U21s at the 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
